Hi! I'm Alim and I am a Freshman student at OU majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Computer Science. I'm a recent grad of the Oklahoma School of Science and Math and I live in Oklahoma City.
I have a pretty eclectic interest group. From an academic perspective, my main interest lies in the overlap between computer science and biology/chemistry. As such, my research background lies biostatistics and computational modeling. This background is probably the result of a vivid interest in language, particularly those that can communicate with the B0x. I've experimented with a bunch of lingos, particularly C++, Ruby/Rails, JAVA, Perl, and some Shell languages.
Outside of academics, I have a passion for experimental art, such as underground hip-hop, indie graphic novels,
progressive rock - basically anything that is intellectually avant-garde.
